UPDATE: Due to technical difficulties that have slowed down this year’s survey, we are extending the duration of this sweepstakes by three weeks. No extra action is necessary to confirm your entry in this sweepstakes. Dates below have been modified to reflect the new closing date.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter the sweepstakes, accept an email invitation to participate in the online survey. A completed entry form must include your first and last name, e-mail address, mailing address and age. You must have a valid email address to participate in this sweepstakes. Entries must be received between 12:01 am (Eastern Time) on May 4, 2009, and 11:59 pm (Eastern Time) on July 21, 2009*. The sweepstakes sponsor(s), Ziff Davis Media Inc. (together with its affiliates, “Ziff Davis”), Equation Research, Inc. ("Equation Research" or "Sponsor"), and Newegg.com Inc. ("Newegg" or "Sponsor"), assume(s) no responsibility for lost, misdirected or late entries or entries containing incorrect or incomplete information. Winners notified by e-mail must respond within seven (7) calendar days or an alternate winner will be chosen. Equation Research shall select the prize winners on or about July 22*, 2009, by random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by e-mail, telephone or regular mail. The only entries that will be considered eligible entries are entries received within the time frames described above that contain the required information. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received.

All prizes will be shipped to the winners within 6-8 weeks of the receipt of signed affidavits for approved entries. Prizes are not transferable. No substitution of prizes for cash or other goods or services is permitted, except that Ziff Davis and/or other sponsors reserve(s) the right to provide substitute prizes of approximately equal value. Prize winners are responsible for all taxes related to any prize received. Actual retail value of prizes may vary due to market conditions.

The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are thirteen (13) years or older at the time of entry. Only one entry per person. More than one entry from any person or email address may void all entries from that person or email address. Employees of the sweepstakes sponsor(s) and its affiliates, and immediate family members of such employees, are not eligible to enter. This sweepstakes is subject to all applicable laws and is void where prohibited. By participating in this sweepstakes, entrant agrees to abide by and be bound by these rules and the decision of Ziff Davis, which shall be final and binding. All submissions become the sole property of the sponsor(s) and will not be acknowledged or returned. Winner assumes all liability for any injuries or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in this sweepstakes or by the use or misuse of any prize. Each prize winner must be thirteen (13) years or older, and will be further required to submit an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/publicity release and confirmation that the prize winner has followed the rules of the sweepstakes, in the form supplied by Ziff Davis (the “Affidavit and Release”), signed by the prize winner. If the prize winner is under eighteen (18) years of age, the Affidavit and Release must be signed and submitted by a parent or legal guardian with due authority. The Affidavit and Release must be signed and returned within seven (7) days of notification. In the event the Affidavit and Release is not returned within this period, an alternate winner may be selected for such prize. Any prize notification or prize returned to Ziff Davis or Equation Research as undeliverable will result in the awarding of that prize to an alternate winner (who will be required to comply with similar procedures).

BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, ENTRANTS RELEASE AND HOLD THE SWEEPSTAKES SPONSOR(S) , its subsidiaries, affiliates and business partners, and the employees, directors, officers, agents, attorneys, successors and assigns of any of the foregoing, HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL LOSSES, DAMAGES, RIGHTS, CLAIMS, AND ACTIONS OF ANY KIND ARISING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THE SWEEPSTAKES OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY SWEEPSTAKES-RELATED ACTIVITY (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE REMOVAL FROM THE SITE OF, OR DISCONTINUATION OF ACCESS TO, ANY MATERIALS), OR RESULTING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE, OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE AWARDED IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, AS WELL AS CLAIMS BASED ON PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION, AND/OR INVASION OF PRIVACY. By entering the sweepstakes, entrants acknowledge compliance with these sweepstakes rules (including without limitation all eligibility requirements). All matters relating to the interpretation and application of these rules shall be decided by Ziff Davis in its sole discretion. In the event of any dispute, entries made by Internet will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. Authorized account holder is deemed as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, service provider or other online organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. If the potentially winning entry is an Internet or other computer entry, potential winner may be requested to provide Ziff Davis with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the potentially winning entry. If for any reason (including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of sponsor(s) that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this sweepstakes) the sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as described in these rules, Ziff Davis shall have the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. The sponsor(s) assume(s) no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The sponsor(s) is/are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Equation Research on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including, without limitation, any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading any materials in this sweepstakes. Because of the unique nature and scope of the sweepstakes, Ziff Davis reserves the right, in addition to those other rights reserved herein, to modify any date(s) or deadline(s) set forth in these official rules or otherwise governing the sweepstakes.

As a condition of participating in the sweepstakes, entrant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between entrant and Ziff Davis, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the sweepstakes or these official rules, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively, before a court located in the County of New York in the State of New York having competent jurisdiction, and shall be governed and controlled by the laws of the State of New York (without regard for its conflicts-of-laws principles). Entrant irrevocably consents to the jurisdiction of the federal and state courts located in the County of New York in the State of New York with respect to any such dispute, cause of action, or other matter pertaining to or arising out of this sweepstakes or these official rules. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby irrevocably waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys' fees, other than entrant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs incurred in participating in the Sweepstakes), and entrant further irrevocably waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased. EACH PARTY EXPRESSLY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO A JURY. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
